About Us

The Giving Tree is a non-profit Adoption Resource center that recruits and trains families to provide permanent homes for children in the foster care system. There are over 130,000 children available for adoption in the US through foster care of which 1,200 are located in Georgia. Most of the waiting children are over age 6 and have lived in at least four different foster care homes.

The Giving Tree finds homes for children who are categorized as "Special Needs."
